Saturday Jan. 23

Sure was warm today. Ray caught $25.00 on the four lines, caught shrimp and went back again. Peggy racked 1 plus 350, Tricia 1 plus 225, I did 3 plus each one at night for Ray and I. We were really behind, everything unracked this morning. Louise Lee called, Earnestine Brooks mother died of cancer Jan. 10, Earnestine just got back this week. Ray killed the skunk at 1AM, sounded like a small war, 3 shotgun blasts, 2 rifle shots. But no more skunk. Terrible without T.V. Went to sleep at 8:45.
