Feb. 11 Thursday

Rays birthday! Got off to a fine start, skunk sprayed under our window before 6 o'clock. Warm, 82o, sunny. The squirrel is still carrying huge mouthfuls of paper tree bark, making a nest somewhere. One of her babies is real tame, the other doesn't trust us. Had $20.00 fish, also $ scale fish from 2 days. Didn't fish tonite. Picked up Tricia at Brownies, Peggy stayed at Denise’s, bought groceries, bought another knife and the wooden knife block, also slotted spoon. Girls fixed their valentines tonite. Napped this afternoon, short while, but am still so tired. Ray made potato salad for supper while I was in town. Cooked him a big sirloin. Forgot his cigarettes, what a day.
